VuWall, a producer of video wall control systems and unified visualization solutions, has released PAK, a solution for deploying and managing modular video walls in AV-over-IP environments, according to a company press release.
PAK is a networked, multi-decode node that can operate as a stand-alone device or can be stitched with other PAK nodes to build an IP-based video wall.
"Since we launched PAK a little over a month ago, the response has been overwhelming," Mark Schmidt, chief technology officer of VuWall, said in the release. "Many customers have already placed orders, and hundreds attended the PAK product launch webinar that we recently hosted. This is a clear indicator of how PAK fills a critical gap in the market for solving the complexities of video wall deployments."
VuWall's PAK device features four HDp60 outputs or one 4Kp60 output and multi-format decoding of up to 32 HD streams per device, including H.264, NDI and remote desktops or virtualized browsers using VNC. As part of VuWall's ecosystem, PAK is managed by the company's TRx centralized management software platform. PAK is designed for multi-room visualization, situational awareness, control rooms and corporate workspaces. PAK can be mounted behind monitors and consumes low power.
VuWall's products power more than 3,000 video walls for companies in 45 countries. VuWall is headquartered in Montreal, Canada, and Reutlingen, Germany.
